A rendezvous where experts and professionals meet and share on what will shape tomorrow's workplaces
Medavie Blue Cross will host several national health care experts on April 13 to 14 in Moncton as part of the company’s Benefits3 Conference. Now in its 10th year, the event continues to foster important discussions on workplace leadership, health and productivity. Nearly 140 delegates from companies across Atlantic Canada as well as union members and industry brokers and consultants will join us this year.
“Benefits3 is an annual event that allows industry professionals and employers to come together to stay informed and share insights into new trends and possible innovative solutions that will help create healthier workplaces,” said David Adams, Medavie Blue Cross’ Atlantic Market Leader and host of the Benefits3 Conference.
This year’s conference will focus on the challenges and the constant evolution of the health care environment in Canada. The speakers include:
Dr. Paul Oh, Medical Director, Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Program with the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. He will participate in an expert panel showcasing the impact of chronic diseases on organizations financial and productivity results in addition to highlighting solutions in order to improve health outcomes in the workplace.
Glenn Monteith, Vice President, Innovation and Health Sustainability with Innovative Medicines Canada. He will provide an overview of how Innovative Medicines Canada helps provide better healthcare solutions to Canadians.
Stuart Rudner, Partner, Rudner MacDonald LLP. He will address a hot-topic: medical marijuana and how to find a balance between accommodation and safety in the workplace.
Anne Nicoll, Vice President, Health and Disability Management; Chris Goguen, Strategic Pharmaceutical Partnerships Lead, and Anne-Marie Smith, Practice Lead, Drug Management Solutions, from Medavie Blue Cross will also take part in panel discussions during the event.
