We're pleased to share the latest edition of Blue Cross Connect, the Medavie Blue Cross member newsletter.

30-day member welcome: Maximizing plan benefits

We're reaching out to new members with a 30-day welcome email designed to maximize their plan engagement.

This email highlights key member services including online account access, digital membership perks, Connected Care services, and Blue Advantage discounts. We also remind members about coverage update options for life changes and invite feedback on their experience so far.

Enhancements to Usual and Customary Information

A recent update has brought changes to the Member Services Site and the Blue Cross Mobile App. Previously, members would see a generic message indicating that the maximum eligible amount is subject to Usual & Customary fees. With this latest release, members will now see the exact amount of the Usual & Customary fees for para-practitioners and vision/eye exams via the Member Services site or the Blue Cross Mobile app.
