We are happy to announce that as of September 22, our newly added Claims Tracker feature will allow members to quickly and easily check the progress of submitted claims by logging in to the Blue Cross Mobile app or Medavie Blue Cross Member Services site. Once a claim is submitted, members can check the status of their claim as it moves from submission to decision and payment!

We have observed a trend in which Complete Health members have been requesting to increase their dental coverage from Entry or Essential to Essential or Enhanced, only to make a claim and then return to Entry level coverage. To address this issue, we will approve without resetting waiting periods this year. Members will be advised that future requests increase to Dental coverage will be subject to waiting periods.

Please remember: To bypass medical questions on an application, the applicant must currently be enrolled in an underwritten Blue Cross individual health plan. This includes:
Any applications that bypass medical questions but are not qualified to do so will be returned to you, thereby delaying approval of the member’s application.
