NB Seniors' Health Plan Rate Increase

To continue to deliver exceptional service and benefits to our New Brunswick seniors, we're implementing a $2 rate increase for the New Brunswick Seniors' Basic and Enhanced health plans effective effective April 1, 2026.

Rate Changes:

NB Seniors' Basic Health Benefits

Current rate: $20/month
New rate: $22/month (effective April 1, 2026)


NB Seniors' Enhanced Health Benefits

Current rate: $30/month
New rate: $32/month (effective April 1, 2026)

There is no increase to the prescription drug plan or the Hospital benefit plan.

Member Premium Statements

Just a reminder that premium statements are accessible through two convenient methods:

Blue Cross Mobile App:
Members can access their statements by selecting "Menu" → "My Account" → "Download annual premium payment statements" (located in the Payment Information section).

Member Services Website:
Members can log in and navigate to "My Account" → "Payment Information" → "Review and print your premium statements."

Both options provide immediate access to annual premium payment statements for your members' records and tax purposes.

Reminder - Member Services Site and Mobile App Updates - February 1, 2026

A new enhancement was introduced to both Member Service Site (MSS) and the Blue Cross Mobile App to strengthen protection around member account information.

This update adds an additional verification step whenever a member requests changes to their email address or direct deposit details.

What Members Can Expect

  • When a member initiates a request to update their email address or direct deposit information, an email notification will be sent to the member’s current email address on file.
  • The member must acknowledge this notification before the requested update can be completed.

Connected Care Service Update

KAIRA, one of our Connected Care digital health partners, has permanently stopped operations as of Thursday, February 12.

The KAIRA product page has been removed from the Connected Care platform and the mobile app is no longer available in app stores. We are currently updating all relevant documentation and materials to reflect this change.

Our Connected Care platform continues to offer a robust selection of digital wellness solutions for clients. If you have members who were previously using KAIRA and are looking for alternative wellness apps, please refer them to the Connected Care website.
