We're pleased to share the latest edition of Blue Cross Connect, the Medavie Blue
Cross member newsletter.
This month, we're focusing on helping members manage the unique stresses that come with the holiday season through our Connected Care suite of wellness resources. The newsletter covers practical support including mindfulness techniques via the Petit Bambou app, confidential virtual therapy through inConfidence®, personalized nutrition guidance from Registered Dietitians via 360 Total Health, and financial planning support through Kaira's budgeting coaching.
We’re excited to share that Medavie Blue Cross members now have access to Gut Health, a new Connected Care service offering professional-grade testing and personalized guidance to help uncover what your gut is telling you about your overall health.
Through consultations with a registered dietitian, members can gain personalized insights into how their gut affects digestion, mood, immunity, and energy — helping them take proactive steps toward better wellbeing. If appropriate, the dietitian may recommend a simple at-home test to analyze the microbiome and uncover imbalances that could be impacting health.
The Gut Health program includes:
Cost and coverage: Program costs range from $375–$425, depending on the recommended test. A portion of these costs may be eligible for reimbursement under dietitian services or through Health Spending or Personal Wellness Accounts, depending on the member’s plan.
Members are invited to view the Gut Health page on Connected Care by signing in to Members Services Site or the mobile app to explore program details, or contact your Medavie Blue Cross representative for questions.
We’re excited to welcome Medavie Blue Cross members to an enhanced inConfidence experience launching January 1, 2026. This includes a new mobile app and web platform designed to make accessing mental health services easier and more user-friendly. As part of this scheduled update, existing inConfidence members with an Inkblot account will be prompted to re-register starting January 1 and onwards. By using the same email address as directed, their history and preferred counsellors will migrate to the new platform.
New members can continue to register at https://inconfidence.ca or through the inConfidence icon under “Coverages” in the Blue Cross Mobile App. A new toll-free number will also be available for those who prefer to call.
Please contact your Medavie Blue Cross representative with any questions.
