As you know, Medavie Blue Cross has a partnership agreement with Canassurance to distribute our individual health products in Ontario. This far-reaching initiative includes rebranding to a common health line brand name, Blue Cross Health, and comes with a refreshed brand design!
Each of the markets within Medavie Blue Cross and Canassurance is adopting this common health line brand. Blue Cross Health is a product category brand managed under the company brand and name (Medavie Blue Cross) and includes our major individual products (Elements, Guaranteed Issue, and Assured Access). Blue Cross Health has already been introduced to the Ontario market and is currently being rolled out in Atlantic. This rollout includes new updated marketing materials to help you promote the same great individual health products under the new branding.
If members should inquire about premium statements, you can direct them to the Online Member Services Site or the Medavie Mobile app to access their 2022 Premium Statements after the new year.
Please note: Members with a NB Seniors Plan will continue to receive their premium statements in the mail.

Holiday period closures for Medavie Blue Cross Individual Business:
Holiday period renewal and First Year Commission (FYC) payments:
The December 2022 renewal commissions will be processed on December 22nd and 23rd. (we now process health and life portions on 2 separate days)
FYC’s will be paid out each Monday with a deposit date of two business days later as per usual, except for the week of December 19th. They will be paid out December 22rd with a deposit date of December 23rd.
