As highlighted in April’s Agent Update, as of June 22 we will be implementing updates to some of our individual health products. These changes are in line with those of the industry to ensure the sustainability of our products. The updated product guides will be implemented and available within the coming weeks.
In the table below, we have outlined the upcoming plan changes scheduled to take effect on June 22. Once in effect, these changes will apply to new business sales. Plan pricing will remain unchanged.
*Calendar Quarter: A period of 3 consecutive months commencing on the first (1st) day of January, April, July or October in a calendar year.

In the past, Medavie Blue Cross has allowed a plan member to transfer from one plan to another without medical underwriting in certain unique circumstances.
Effective June 17, we are re-evaluating this process and therefore, in the interim, when a client is considering a change in their plan, please review the following:
If you have already discussed a plan change with your client prior to June 17th, these transfers will be honored if your clients are still eligible.
