New! Phzio Comprehensive Health Assessment

We’re happy to announce a recent addition to Connected Care: Phzio's comprehensive health assessment. This new service offers member a complete picture of their physical health and provides insights for better wellness ahead. The assessment includes:

  • Full testing: Blood work, heart health (ECG), and movement assessment
  • Expert team: One-on-one time with nurse practitioner, dietitian, and athletic therapist
  • Your blueprint: Personalized care plan tailored to member health goals
  • Direct billing: Dietitian and athletic therapist costs may bill directly to the member’s plan

Phzio adapts to members’ needs, whether they are focused on heart health, energy, recovery, or injury prevention. Services offered through Connected Care can be accessed and explored through the Blue Cross Mobile app and the Member Service Site.

Canada Post Strike Update

Canada Post shifted from full national strike to rotating strikes on October 11. While postal operations have partially resumed, delivery delays continue across the country and service guarantees remain suspended.

Encourage Members to Enrol in Direct Deposit

A reminder that the Canada Post strike may impact members who rely on postal
services for claims and reimbursement updates. To avoid disruptions, members are
strongly encouraged to enroll in direct deposit through either our secure Blue Cross Mobile app or the secure Member Services Site.

To assist members with this transition, we’ve included a how-to video in their

Uninterrupted Service: Rate Adjustments Now Automated Via Email

Due to the Canada Post strike, members with a December 1st renewal date will receive their notification through our secure automated email system to avoid delays.

All automated messages are sent from [email protected] and will continue throughout the month. Each letter includes an explanatory note that due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, communications are being delivered via email, with postal delivery resuming once the strike is resolved.

Deadline for 2024 Bonus Bucks and Co-Op Funds

If you’ve earned Bonus Bucks and Co-op Funds through your 2024 net production, be sure to use them all before November 30, 2025!

Co-op Funds help you pay for marketing initiatives that promote your business relationship with Medavie Blue Cross. You can use your Co-op dollars to offset the cost of print, radio, online ads and more!

You can also treat yourself or a client with a gift from myreward.ca using your Bonus Bucks! Log on to your account to see how many Bonus Bucks you have available and claim before December 31, 2025.

Remember: If you don’t use, you lose those Bonus Buck and Co-op Funds at the end of the year.

Reminder - New Rates Effective November 1, 2025 for
Individual Business

Effective November 1, 2025, rates will be adjusted as follows:

  • Complete Health rates will increase by an average of 4% (see chart below for further breakdown)
  • Assured Access rates will increase by 2.5%
  • Options and Options Plus rates will increase by 7%
