All Medavie Blue Cross individual health plans include inConfidence. Check your policy booklet for contact and web access information. If your group benefit plan includes inConfidence, the plan’s sponsor can provide contact or web access information. Check your benefits booklet or ask your benefits coordinator.

The number of sessions it takes to resolve a short-term issue varies by the person and the issue. The inConfidence program provides as many sessions as is required to address short-term issues. There is no maximum number of times the inConfidence program can be engaged during a year. A new short-term problems or issues arise you can access the program to address the issues before they grow.

inConfidence is not an emergency or crisis hotline. If you are in crisis, please call 911. For non-crisis, urgent situations; telephonic appointments can often be arranged for the same day. Routine appointments can usually be arranged within 5 business days.

The fully qualified, professional counsellors have been carefully screened and credentialed by Lifeworks. At a minimum counsellors have a master's degree in one of the following fields: Psychology, Social Work or Educational Counselling, and five years of clinical experience.

inConfidence is 100% confidential, and your employer cannot see what you are accessing on the app or if you are receiving counselling.
