Medavie Blue Cross is proud to announce its support for the Moncton Magic as the team’s jersey sponsor this season.

“We’re incredibly excited to have such strong support from the local business community,” said Mike Storey, Vice-President of Operations for the Moncton Magic. “To have a key sponsor like Medavie that shares our passion for healthy lifestyles, really deepens our connection to the people here in greater Moncton. The pieces are falling into place that sets us up for success this season,” he added.

The Magic will play their home opener against the Halifax Hurricanes on Saturday, November 17 after starting their season a few days earlier in Halifax. Medavie Blue Cross employees will join other Monctonians to cheer on the Magic in their first game at Moncton’s new Avenir Centre.

“Supporting our communities is key to fulfilling our mission to improve the wellbeing of Canadians,” said Bernard Lord, CEO of Medavie. “We wish the Magic well and look forward to them becoming a fixture in the community.”

Medavie Blue Cross will also be providing a new fan feature for the team’s game on November 17. Using facial recognition technology, fans will have access to a custom Snapchat filter to turn themselves into Dunk’n, the Moncton Magic’s mascot.

See you at the Avenir Centre!
