Medavie Blue Cross is pleased to announce the appointment of Shane Reid as Director, Product, Pharmacy, and Provider Management. Shane brings an extensive background in Group Benefits to the role; as a seasoned professional he has a strong track record in advancing growth objectives and developing leaders and product teams across Canada. He has held leadership positions in new market growth initiatives, business development, operational effectiveness and disability management.
Shane will be responsible for leading the development of innovative products for our Group and Individual business and strengthening our position as a group benefits provider and leader in drug plan management. He holds an MBA from York University and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University. Shane is based in Toronto and will be an important contributor to Medavie Blue Cross' business development and growth agenda across Canada.
