Medavie Blue Cross President Named to BPM Hot List

Following a comprehensive industry review, Benefits and Pensions Monitor has recognized Medavie Blue Cross President Eric Laberge as a standout performer for his exemplary leadership and expertise.

“Judging by the calibre of the nominees, the standard of professionals across the industry is high. Eric Laberge is among the top performers and deserves to be recognized for his meaningful contributions to his organization and the wider sector over the past 12 months.”

The publication’s 30-plus–member Intelligence Unit compiled the final list following a rigorous evaluation process, which included gathering insights from independent industry experts and conducting extensive research. The final honourees were selected based on the Hot List’s precise criteria.

BPM Hot List Selection Process

In June 2025, Benefits and Pensions Monitor invited professionals from across Canada to nominate outstanding leaders for its third annual Hot List.

Nominees were required to have at least 10 years of industry experience. After receiving hundreds of nominations, BPM narrowed the list to 31 movers and shakers whose contributions have helped shape the benefits, pension, and institutional investment sectors over the past year.

From innovators driving transformation to leaders redefining industry standards, this year’s Hot List celebrates the very best in the field.
