For 75 years, Medavie Blue Cross has been a leading health services partner for individuals, employers and governments across Canada. As the country’s leading Blue Cross plan with over one million card holders, we are a premier all-in-one carrier that provides health, dental, travel, life and disability benefits to individuals and organizations. We also administer various government-sponsored health programs on behalf of provincial and federal governments, including Veterans Affairs Canada and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We are a part of Medavie, a health organization. Together with Medavie Health Services, the largest private provider of Emergency Medical Services in Canada, we are committed to providing innovative solutions that will improve the health of all Canadians. Medavie is a member of the Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans (CABCP). All member plans operate independently and are governed by their own Board of Directors.

As a not-for-profit organization, we channel our annual net income into investments aimed at enhancing the experience for our clients and as an annual social dividend to the Medavie Health Foundation as part of our commitment to help build a healthy Canada.
