Using Benefit Plans to Boost Mental Resilience and Performance

We’re living in turbulent times and employees are feeling it. Early findings of a five-year OSMET study, sponsored by Medavie Blue Cross, show that over 1 in 3 working Canadians are experiencing some form of mental distress.

Plan to attend our next Insights webinar on May 11 when we present study results and targeted solutions toward helping employers build psychologically healthy, safe and productive workplaces. Special guests Pierre Durand, Co-Director of OSMET, and Martin Binette, blogger, podcaster and COO of Relief, will join our own Rebecca Smith and host Alaina MacKenzie, to help us understand the impact the pandemic has had on employee mental health and steps that employers can take to boost mental resilience and performance.

“Data and reflections from the OSMET study are giving us an incredible opportunity to re-evaluate the resources and solutions that we offer our members to ensure they stay relevant and significant, especially in the context of the pandemic,” says Marthe Cloutier, Group Plan Advisor in an interview with Journal de l’assurance.

To learn more about this study sign up for our May 11 webinar and read about in the Journal de l’assurance (French only), as well as magazine Avantages (French only) and Benefits and Pensions Monitor. Our free, CE-accredited webinar is a do-not-miss event for plan advisors, sponsors and HR professionals who prioritize mental wellness in the workplace.
