Medavie Blue Cross Promotes Eric Laberge to President

MONTREAL, QC — Pierre-Yves Julien, CEO, Medavie Inc. is proud to announce the recent promotion of Eric Laberge to the position of President, Medavie Blue Cross. In this role, Eric is now the newest member of the Medavie Executive Team.

“Since joining the organization in late 2012, Eric has made significant contributions to our group business and our overall vision as a transformational health organization,” said Julien. “Eric's experience in management, business development and track record of achieving profitable revenue growth will efficiently lead our business forward.”

Following more than 20 years working with major actuarial consulting firms, Eric brings a strong industry background and wealth of knowledge through progressive leadership experience. Most recently as Senior Vice President, Group Business, he accelerated our business transformation agenda through effective collaboration while ensuring the client experience remained central to our business.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Laval University, is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is based in Montreal.
